The painting itself is beautiful; however, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how it was shipped. The painting was wrapped far too tightly and packed into a box that was too small, which resulted in several areas where the paint has been stripped and damaged.
I even took the painting to a professional framing shop, hoping they might be able to fix the damage. Unfortunately, they were unable to repair it because of the way the painting had been packed and shipped.
It is incredibly frustrating and disappointing to pay this much money for a beautiful painting only to have it arrive damaged because of inadequate packaging. For the price I paid, I expected much more care to be taken when preparing the artwork for shipment. This damage could have been avoided with proper packaging, which makes the situation even more disappointing.
